i have written a review of a new cheap piece of kit called Hood-Pro and Sock-Loupe from Mike Stevens. It's genius and seriously makes the LCD better than the EX3 viewfinder. Link is above.

I wonder if this can do the HVX LCD any good, you can´t fake resolution, but maybe the magnified image still helps focusing...
