I imagine it's the Bill Raven profile offered at the "other" forum.

My friend gave me the info so I don't know exactly where it is on the internet but I know there are various updates to the settings. I am freaking blown away. Blows away the HVX200

Hey now! Hold that down, we don't want another war on our hands...

Yes, we know that some people tend to talk about how the EX1 looks based on it's default, out of the box settings. But us owners know that when we dial in the correct settings, it's one of the sweetest looking cameras around. The amount of tweaking you can do is very similar to the $50k Sony cameras.

Shhh... !!

:)

I also shoot with detail off, but that's just personal preference for a more filmy not videoy look

You're joking, right?

The people on this forum visit the "other forum" quite often. This and the "other forum" are filled with awesome people and many of the same people by the way! Of course, it's bad manners to plug competing forums but let's all recognize that there is a lot of cross checking and posting going on ... it's all good !

I've been extremely happy with the Sony EX1. You can view footage that was shot with my CINE package which is based around a nice set of Canon FD prime lenses and the Letus 35mm adapter. I now use the Letus Elite. On the main http://www.magichatfilms.com page, click "reel"
