So here's my dilemma... I'm planning on getting Magic Bullet Suite when I get the HMC150. My problem... my laptop (which I don't do the bulk of my editing on, but do edit on) is too slow to handle AVCHD. And it can't be upgraded enough to handle it. It can be upgraded enough to handle Cineform ProspectHD. However, the costs of the upgrades + the cost of ProspectHD = the cost of a new laptop that can probably handle AVCHD.
So my question is this... has anyone ever done some work with AVCHD (or HDV/Sony HQ) and Magic Bullet? I'm wondering if the high compression of AVCHD would play well with MBS, or if going the Cineform route makes more sense. I played a little with the ProspectHD demo and AVCHD, but have no experiance with MBS.
