firestore issues

My firestore device won't let me write. I hooked it up to my hvx200 and got an error message that said " not a movie file" when I tried to record to it. It kept doing that, so I did a factory reset/restore. After that, it would only let me record about 18 frames or so of video. So I took what I was able to record and tried to load it onto my mac and I got an "invald public atom" error message.

Any similar experiences? If so, any solutions?
