I always heard that SD lenses couldn't be used on an HD camera because the glass wasn't good enough. I thought that was why the HVX fisheye is 4 times the price of the DVX fisheye.
This guy on skateperception attached a DVX fisheye to his HVX. I know it's just one still image, but it does look pretty damn good.
