Hi all,
Today I'v been doing some test in order to know the time you may lose while changing cards.
first of all I activated the pre rec setting (which sets the tc to free run) in order to get the extra 3 seconds.
then I pointed the camera to a timecode in my pc screen and then filmed it then i stopped waited 1 second till the orange light stopped blinking. Opened the card door and changed the card as fas as possible. Then as soon as I closed the door I hit record.
after that I played the clip in order to see how many seconds I lost in the process.
I did it 3 times, the first time 12 seconds lost, the second time 6 and the 3rd time 9 seconds.
It's not hot swapping but............(Murphy's law says that the most important thing will happen in those 9 seconds)

PD: one test remains to be done, how does a card behave when it fills? how long does it take for the light to stopp blinking?
