Hi

I need to buy a solid camera that will give me a good image, sound options (audio ports) and manual adjustments (focus zoom...) that i can just kind of throw around and get the job done...

Because of the economy right now... I want to stay within the $1000 range or a tiny bit higher...

what do you suggest...

I plan on doing events, documentary and my own independent projects

thanks

The HV20 isn't solid state. I think JR means this:

Csio EX-F1 shoots stunning H.264 HD video in both 720P and 1080i- has mic in and manual adjustments- check into it.
