Firestore and Final Cut Studio 2.0???

Greetings,

I own a HVX200 with a Firestore 160. I usually edit on AVID composer. I KNOW NOTHING of Final Cut. (I am a PC user)

I have a client you needs to load 1080i footage from my Firestore 160 onto his laptop. The Client has Final Cut Studio 2.0.

Is there a link or tutorial anyone can send me?

Organize the p2 folder in the firestore.

Then switch to the DD mode, and attach the Firestore to the Mac.

Use the log and transfer import box in the file menu to locate the p2 folder on the firestore and import.

i have a FS100 and a mac...i usually set the FS to make .mov files.

but i'd try to shot mxf , and log and tranfer...and my FCP just can't select the files...

nothing happens...

why is that happen?

do i need to download any driver for my FCP can "see" the .mxf?

Did you "organize p2" in the FS100 menu before going to DD and log and transfer?

Thanx for the note regarding the "Log and Transfer import box" window etc. Again, i know nothing of FCS 2 (AVID PC user). Is there also an issue with the LASTCLIP.TXT? Does this have to be read in FCS 2? I read other boards where LASTCLIP.TXT is a must. And again, going with MARCO L's question - is there a Driver that my MAC client needs to have in order for him to be able to read my MXF files?
