Hi
Is there any 3rd party accessory that could act as a proper focus ring for the HPX 170. As in to prevent it from spinning to infinity ...and beyond?

Don't let buzz light year near the focus ring.
Hypothetically speaking if Buzz light year were not alive today.........I was looking for something similar like the Zacuto ''HVX200 Repeatable Focus Ring with Stops''. Or something that served a similar function.
Open to workarounds people have applied in the past

Not sure if its any help but i use the bebop foxi with my hvx. It feels nice and you can mark it. You can mount it on rails or on the tripod handle. The cable is long enough that you can have someone pull the focus as you would do with a wip.
I think the reason it's not more popular is because many people use 35mm adaptors.
I bought mine cheap at the dvx marketplace and now i can't imagine not using it.
