Whos shot w/ 35 adapters?

Which kinds?

What do you think about specific models?

I'm currenty in pre-production for a music video shoot that is going to be shot on 2 HVX-200a with a letus extreme and Nikon lenses...

Any opinions on which company/model is the best???

do a forum search for adapter. this has been soooooo already discussed ad nauseum. every adapter - every lens - every rails setup - every mattebox. its all right there for the discovering.

I too am wondering about which 35mm adapter to choose. I'm getting my 200a soon, and I'm planning to rent a letus extreme to use with my own Nikon lenses.

Can anyone give me an approximate estimate on how much a daily rental rate would be for a Letus Extreme + rails set up would be for the 200a? I am in the Los Angeles area, so I know there are probably tons of places to rent, but i don't know where to look.

One more question, If I plan on using an HVX200a with a letus extreme and rails, what weight capacity tripod head should I plan on buying?

This whole adapter thing will probably not last for much longer if Panny and Sony get the picture and made comcorders with customizeable lens mounts though

I think this is a great idea but largely wishful thinking in terms of those two companies implementing. I would probably say that will never happen and would love to be wrong about it.

I do look forward to the announcement of Scarlet's new specs. That is where you might see this sort of innovation I do believe.

is the manfrotto 501 head not a good head if I plan on using the Letus with rails and nikon lenses?? I think I read it holds about 13 lbs.

i wouldnt suggest ANY manfrotto/bogen head below the 510. they will get by, but you'll get WAY better movement as well as stability from the higher end units

Personally, I'm liking the Sachtler FSB6.
