I would love to see how far you can push 150 footage. Please post some half screen stuff where one half is left untouched and the other is pushed incremental with the numbers on the screen as you dial them up.
I'd like to see some gamma and gain. But anything you'd like to do would be great, just please let us know what it is you are doing to it so we can see just how limited (or not) this camera's codec really is.

If the compression is high then you start getting really weird stuff happening really quick. If it is low compression, high bit-rate... then you can do way more. That's why everyone is so crazy about getting RAW info at high bit-rates from the chips.
Basically if you have a few thousand colors then there will be pixels that are the same color or real close to being the same. If you have real high bit-rate then there is a higher chance that pixels won't have the same values. So when you are doing something like say applying curves to add details in the shadows then these pixels might change together... instead of being able to getting them to becoming colors that are further apart.
That was not the most eloquent or thorough explanation but I guess you get the idea.
The more info you have the more you cam manipulate it. That was arguably the main reason why so many went crazy over the HVX... DVCPROHD is 4:2:2 which is a nice sweet spot in terms of compression and info. And this is the same reason why so many are going just as crazy over Red's cameras.
I hacked my Canon A630 digital picture camera to shoot RAW. :D
Kind of just for fun, but at the same time you'd be surprised what you can get out of it once you correct the fringe and pinch... then CC the crap out of it.
anywho... I got a bit sidetracked, sorry .. :)
