cant open P2 MXF files in afx

I edit my projects in Premiere CS3 then import the project into AFX CS3 for CC and efx. when i do this with other footage it imports my sequence no problem, however if I'm using MXF files from a Panasonic P2 card I DO manage to open the sequence in aftereffects however the footage is non existent. Meaning i see color bars instead of the video. I know i had to get a plugin for premiere to read P2 mxf files so I did that. Is it the same deal with after effects? If so could someone please direct me to the plugin I need.

Make sure you have the latest version of After Effects. The original update to CS3 added support for Premiere Pro, but not for After Effects. The update for After Effects came later. So download the latest version of AE and it should work fine.
