I exported some footage shot on an HVX200. The settings were 720/24PN. Opening up After Effects CS3, I dropped the footage onto the composition icon and when it popped up on the main window, the image was distorted.
Try as I might I couldn't get the display to show the correct aspect ratio. Shouldn't AE interpret the proper aspect ratio by default?
Also, I noticed that the image is considerably brighter than its quicktime source. Is this due to some gamma shift? How do I correct this?
