Good mixing of photographs, 2-d, and stop motion effects. I liked the "lighting" of when the camera is inside the school house.
You probably cried because anything played along with Sigur Ros tends to have that effect on people! :)

That was pretty sweet. I actually flew from Alaska to Denver last weekend just to see Sigur Ros at Red Rocks. Not going to say it made me cry, but.... ehem....uh.....there was a lot of dust in the air. Awesome show.

Incredible short film. It captures perfectly the soul of filmmaking as an art of expressing ones feelings. This are the films that should recieve oscars!!!

Very good technically, A+. However, as we'd say in story meetings "on the nose", and as such escapes greatness. Solid C+.

Like "Hit oar rs" (Quickly on the Ros, but pronounced like rose).

Beautiful movie. I did a thread on "digital Lighting" a few months back, and a few Dps took me to task, saying you couldn't light digitally as well as naturally. This shows that digitally you can light BETTER.

I'm pretty sure that, if your thread is the one I'm thinking about, you were claiming that digitally lighting live action was better than lighting in real life.
