Bill Maher is hilarious in this. Some of the people he interviews will blow you away with what they say.

For you atheists out there, its a great movie. Funny and informative, it will definitely reinforce your thoughts.

For religious people, still go see it. Its an interesting take on what you may believe.

I made it a point to see Moores second to films, bowling and 911, both films were full of crap, but both films effected our country, they had some impact, Maher on the other hand has no socially redeeming qualities, and the film looks like a cheap Moore knock off, a cheap knock off of crap hmm, he's not getting my nine bucks.

I think it was a fantastic movie . I think it should be required viewing for everyone. I am so sick of people thinking it is ok or sane to believe in made up deities.

Please don't insult people for their faith. Not here, anyway.

No film should be 'required viewing' for anyone.

DREWJoseph82 -- I'll go see this if you'll go see 'Fireproof'. :)

To be honest, I want to see this, but I'm paranoid enough to think some lunatic might throw a bomb into the theater, so I'll wait for DVD.

Bill Maher...now there's a class act.
Remember when that douche dressed as Steve Irwin for Halloween?

I would agree that he is a poor man's Michael Moore, but then again Michael Moore is a poor man's Michael Moore.

What's with all the Michael Moore and Bill Maher bashing? "Politically Incorrect" was one of the best shows on tv. Is this site hosted in a red state? Very odd behavior on here. I'll definitely be seeing Religulous.

:)

Agreed. I would also ask why you believe you have the right to be so adamant in your beliefs, yet mock others for being adamant in theirs.

Guys, this film is going to tough enough to discuss without delving directly into the subject matter it deals with -
let's keep the personal attacks and religious attacks out of it.

If it becomes obvious that it won't be able to be discussed without confrontational tones and judgements
like the ones being made above, then we'll have to stop the discussion.

Please keep it civil, on topic, and not personal.
Thanks.

dude, I agree with you, but this is not the place. go spread the word, just not here. Jarred owns this place and has specific rules to avoid discussion of religion, politics, and personal attacks. Lets try to abide by them.

I don't have a belief that's the point.
Others "so called beliefs " are dumbing down this county & sending science back to the dark ages. Believe whatever you want but do it at home & keep it out of politics & society. Religion is one of the most dangerous & absurd inventions of primitive man. Just because something has been around for a long time and is tradition doesn't mean it shouldn't be challeged. The same people that made up most of the religions that are currently in favor also believed the world was flat, the sun revolved around the earth, spitting on woulds would heal them & animal sacrifices were a good thing.
