I have seen many users posting that they either have a considerable amount of lens movement, or they don't have much, if any on the HPX170.
Using the video posted below as a comparison, how does your HPX170 side to side movement compare?
I'm not really sure what to think right now about this movement. If it actually is part of the camera tech, then all HPX170's should have the same amount of movement. Am I wrong to think this? I am looking for a definitive answer as to whether or not this movement will become a bigger issue as the camera starts to see more use and starts to loosen up a bit.
It seems like the posts about this issue have been about 50/50 as to whether or not this is a problem or not. When you drop $5200 on a camera and see this movement in the lens, it should raise some questions. I'm not convinced that this movement is right.
It may or may not be a huge deal, but I figured this would be a good place to start to see what other users are experiencing with the 170. I'm not trying to raise a stink, I just want to know how other users cameras compare.
