A montage of shots that I took tonight with the HPX. Screwed up on title... still have to get used to HPX.

Thanks for the quick reply. So does everyone just play with these settings until they get an image they like?
What resolution and frame rate did you shoot? Thanks!

I started with Barry Greens Filmic scene file and changed a few things here and there.
I shot everything in 24p with the slow motion shots over cranked to 60 frames.

Okay. Now I want one. Dammit. How is the auto focus on this? My Hvx always struggled with that :(

A bit underexposed for my personal taste, but it is a nice look now that it doesn't get all noisy. Thanks for posting!

I was curious to see how it would hold up so I went for a bit of a darker feel. I'm going to try to get a hold of an HVX to do some side by sides.

Thought you might have done that on purpose :)
PLEASE do that! Please let's see it! Not some test or stationary crap anymore... shoot something and keep switching back and forth between cameras then cut it all together in the same fashion and ad a little 200 or 170 text on the bottom corner . That would be really sweet man.

I'll see if I can get out in the next few days and shoot identical low light footage with both cams.

Really nice shots. Can't wait to get my HPX!
Wish I could say something more meaningful, but until I get the camera I'll just say good job.

Hey DM.. I have a question.. what process do you take to get the footage onto your computer? I have the same camera but im using a pc (i assume you're using a mac like everyone else here). anyway, with me, i shoot footage.. plug the cam into the pc.. copy and paste 'content' and 'lastclip' onto my computer.. open it with adobe premiere and it looks like shit? i mean, the quality is sort of there but it either skips.. or gets really rough around the edges.. especially when its overcranked.. do you have any idea of what i could be doing wrong? i want it to look like yours!! lol
cheers mate

I have no PC tech knowledge at all, so I couldn't help you with that one. But, I could probably guarantee that if you search the forums, you could find your answer.
