View Full Version : D90 first try = strange things happening

I noticed that the video is heavily cropped from what I see in the camera.

Video in camera:

What's going on here. Do I really have to read the manual? :crybaby:

Also, the AVI files are crashing Vista even without being open. Just opening the folders with the AVI in them creates constant errors.

Have you checked your Project settings in Premiere? Make sure that your project is 1280 by 720 with a Square Pixel Aspect Ratio. It looks like a ratio problem to me.

yes, the premiere project was set up correctly. the video is not only stretched, but cropped strange.

Also, the premiere screen shot is of the source video which should not be affected by the premiere project and the video shows the same distortion when shown in media player.

it looks like you have a 720x480 project setting.
