720/24p playing pool. I'm pretty confident that 720 looks better than 1080 for some reason.

i believe Barry posted he thought the 720 looked best due to having less information to compress or something like that :)
I think once i get my hands on one these i will probably shoot 720 almost exclusively.

I would recommed it as well. 720/24p or the 720/60p for something like sports (or skateboarding?)

i saw the comment on vimeo as well and i too would say that this looks really choppy compared to DVX footage that im used to. IMO. Also looks like the OIS may be off? But the footage does looks good color wise etc. Thanks for posting.
correction: the footage was much less choppy looking when i turned the HD off on vimeo.

Maybe it's vimeo's player thing that makes it choppy
