Hi all!

I am on the lookout for an NTSC + PAL camera (hd of course).
My other requirements are:

-filmic look a must (24p + 25p)
-shoulder mountable
-for cinematography, ENG, commercials and special occasions
-in up to $5k -ish league
-preferrably no cmos

I am looking at the JVC HD200 - meets all of the above? (though in terms of the filmic look I like canon's xh-a1 most).

I know EX1 is PAL/NTSC but I think it's less filmic, has cmos nad no shoulder...

Any opinions?
Have you had experience with the jvc?
Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance for help:)

You can get the Canon XL H1a made NTSC/PAL switchable for $300 on top of the $6000 purchase price. It's shoulder-mounted, uses CCDs, and it has the same image as the XH A1. It seems like the best option for you.
