This isnt directly related to D90 but there are a couple of music videos by the band In Flames that have cool effects that im interested in knowing how is done. When i get my D90 i plan on making a couple of music videos for my friends band and im looking for inspiration. It's probably way out of my league, but it's always good to aim high, right?

First is the smooth angle changing effect in this video, kind of reminds of the fight sequence in Matrix. Multiple cameras?

Then there is the shaking effect in this one when they are on stage. I think i remember a scene in Fight Club which was similiar.

So what do you video gurus think?

Btw the film effects in those, does that indicate it's shot with film or is it some post processing?

1. Definitely multiple cameras. With the price of cameras coming down so much, we're seeing a LOT more of these types of multiple cam effects.

2. Looks like just fairly simple post processing effect. After Effects is what I'd use.

Of course!

There are folk here who have gotten some pretty impressive attention including academy nominations.

My guess is indeed multiple cameras but to find out how they specifically put this together?

But it's not really here nor there because you want to do your own work that pushes forward and exceeds anyones previous work.

To that end, do a forum and Google search for "Bullet Time"
