I think you posted this in the wrong section. You were looking for User Films?
Very nice, I think though since the JUMPER movie had already been created (Doug Liman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0510731/), David S. Goyer (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0333060/)) in feb. of this year that you will recieve some complaints that you are simply re-creating what has already been done. Aside from that, I like what you have done here im very impressed. keep up the good work and im am curious to see the outcome! :)

I think he was just showing us the Jumper effect he made in After Effects. Good job Man! Looks pretty good. I was thinking about recreating this effect as well, however, I don't have the time :p

nice looking effect,
don't you wanna give a quick text run through on how you achieved it? the onset bit (practical), i mean, not the AE side.
thanks,
Derrick

hey derrick thanks for the comment!!
well what i did on set is that i kept the camera on the tripod and didnt movie it at all... then i shot a clean plate or thebg plate then the actor doing the jumper move and that is..but the most importnan is that the camera doent move on both shots!!
cheers

You can use that method to fake a pan as well, if you are so inclined. put two pieces of static video side by side in a large composition, overlapping by about ¼, open them up in a standard sized comp, and change the position. Add motion blur, and walah, panning video.
The results are surprisingly good. I'm off to watch your mini movie now.
