Ive done this before where I imported 2 photos and blended them into one. It was so long ago that I forgot the process! Can anyone help me out?
I imported one photo that I want to use as my background. I then imported the other photo and cut the background from that photo so all that's left is what I want to use. Now I am stumped on how to blend the two.
It seems like I would need to create another layer for the "foreground" photo.
If you can walk me through the process that would be cool.
thanks

I think you need to be a little more descriptive as to what you'd like to do here.
When you say "blend" I think YOU mean "merge". You want to make both layers become a single layer? -- If you want to do this without saving your document as a flat JPEG (or whatever file suits your project) then you will simply select both layers in your layers palette (shift+click, cmd+click), right click in the palette and select "merge" or "merge layers". Similarly, if you want to retain the separate layers data in your PSD file you can choose to "group" your images together (or use the little padlock feature) and the two layers will move uniform with each other but still be editable individually.
Does this answer your question?
If you meant "blend" as in actually BLENDING one layer into the next (to help "sell the shop") then it will take a myriad of certain tools and techniques, each specific to the job at hand.

If you are trying to make one final picture out of these two layers, and nothing more, then you can just save the project as an image file.

Still haven't heard from you, and this section of DVXuser has been quiet for several days.
