which footage is d90 and which is 5d (sorry if this seems a stupid question)?
the shaky rolling shutter really is 5d??? the vincent dude thinks this is better than $100k cameras? should i laugh or be sad?

I do.
First part of the video with all the beeping and big exposure changes is a pre-production 5DII and everything after the guy holding a camera to his face is D90.
The article is very uninteresting, basically just saying that the 5DII is a game changing camera and the D90 is cheaper with lesser quality because of the 720p and worse compression, but points out that they cant really compare these two as the D90 is way cheaper.
He talks about the lack of any autofocus on the D90 but also points out the 5DII focus was pretty slow and hopes it will be better in a production unit. The rest is pretty much about how they both lack manual controls in video and how great they are as still cameras.
He seems to favour the 5DII even though they've only had it for a very short time and mentions how Vincent Laforet loves it. He raves about the quality of the 1080p raw footage.

5D2 looks great to me! Much better than the D90's wobble by a HUGE margin!

i see a bit of jello, but someone that shaky holding a d90 (oddly, for this on tripod) would be unwatchable.

Wow, that's not bad at all considering how much shake there was in this video.

Ha ando: any other clips you can dig up to convince us of the 5D2's awesomeness?

It also said that the D5 was a prototype and that the video had been downscaled and recompressed and thus was not to be judged on picture quality.
But damn that was some shaky footage.
thanks for the translation
i think rolling is horrible
the wobble is worse than hv20
it's better than d90 but unusable as a PJ like canon said. as far as the $100k it's supposed to replace it's a joke.
it should be good in low light and that's it
the FF sensor is 1.5x bigger than d90. lot more light hits the sensors.
also the flowers show that high contrast clipping the low light sample showed too
i hope there are enough color adjutments
no i don't have other clips.
but i'll post just like i post d90 clips
