Two new programmes on the Reel Show Hardware Channel see the Sony EX3 camera being reviewed - http://www.reel-show.tv/index.html?vidId=00062 -
after a shoot in South Africa, before being placed with another EX3 in the P+S Technik 3D Stereo mirror rig for all those interested in making 3D movies.
With Guy Ritchie's RocknRolla muscling its way into cinemas, the Reel Show's making of program has now gone live. Shot in summer 2007, RocknRolla was the first major movie to use the Arri D-20 digital cinema camera in LOG mode, and the Reel Show joined director of photography David Higgs on set to chat with him about using the camera on the movie.
Also, following his review of Iridas Speedgrade XR in August, this month Dado Valentic turns his attention to Assimilate Scratch Cine, explaining its use in transferring rushes from the Red camera.
