60i > 25p, 30p > 25p

Hi everybody,
Would anyone tell me a really effective method of converting 60i to 25p and 30p to 25p, no mather in Vegas or some other software, so that to eliminate the visual choping the frames in pieces and to get a smooth video motion, please?

You can try DVFilm Maker. But you'll probably never get a good conversion from 30p to 25p -- not enough motion samples.

The best way in Vegas would be to have smart resample enabled. Vegas would then recreate frames to make it as smooth as possible. Not that it will be perfect, but it will be as good as it gets.

But for 60i I recommend that you convert to 50i instead.
