I'm trying to cast a woman who is at least 60 years old. I'm not getting any luck over the internet, and I don't know my other options.
Anybody have experience with this?

Other than Craigslist, have you tried local theatre groups, Drama clubs? Check with the drama dept. in school too.

I'm sure there's a local agency with actors wiling to work for nothing to build their reel. You get what you pay for in many cases but I've discovered some gems along the way.
Just make sure you pay them well when you use them again.

Locate your nearest television station. They will have a talent list they draw from and grow for all the TV spots they do for local businesses.

Another great option is contacting a college or university that has a theatre or film department. They often have lists of folks who help with their projects and you may in fact find an instructor who fits the bill the bill.
The others here left some valuable search methods too from tv stations to theatre companies.
Plus, you are in Austin and I would gamble that there is a female musician or singer out there who did acting in the past who might relish jumping back in on an indie project. Make sure you post on any music related sites that cater to your area.

Most "older" folks don't use the interweb. I wouldn't even make an attempt to find a 60 year old actor online.
As someone mentioned, try theater groups and talent agencies. Talk to theater directors also and see if they have any ideas about actors they know who might work.
