Hope BROTHERS BLOOM is not to BRICK as SMOKING ACES is to NARC (though NARC was Carnahan's second film) since BROTHERS BLOOM looks more "fun" and "heisty" than BRICK. Really looking forward to it though.

Me too. It's screening at TIFF and Mark Ruffalo's in town. I think he's a great actor - got some kinda Peter Falk-vibe going on.

Peter Falk? Hmmm maybe. Kind of mubley with curly black hair, but I never found his looks so off / interesting that they bordered on distracting (like with Falk). I don't think Falk's played many romantic leads either.

best thing about brick is JGL the movie is pretty forgettable besides him and his performance.
