View Full Version : No more graphic on timeline in AE CS3? NO!!!

Has the new AE CS3 dropped the ability to click a right-pointing arrow next to the effect or transform value and graphically see the development of keyframe values the way you could in AE 6? If so, MAJOR loss for me, MAJOR.

For instance, opacity. Let's say you go from 100 to 0 over 1 second. If you click the arrow you get in AE 6, it opens up a graphical representation on the timeline showing a diagonal horizontal line indicating a gradual drop.

They've improved the graph editor, there is a button at the top of the timeline that allows you to toggle between the timeline and graph editor.

Not to be smart, but it would be beneficial to read release notes and the manuals for these software programs. The constant asking of redundant questions that are easily answered by the tiniest bit of searching really puts this forum at a disadvantage because the more knowledgeable people will tire of it and stop answering the important questions that you can't find in a manual.

I believe it still there it's called the Graph editor.Go figure.
