Where to post video clips?

Hi folks, am fairly new to this forum but am enjoying everyone's posts!

Quick question -- anyone know a good place to post video clips for review by this community? In other words, any suggestions for websites where I might get some "free" space to post a clip for a short while? I've got a 17MB clip from a "humorous" music video we recently did that I'd like to get comments on.

I'd appreciate any advice on where to post...

You mean where to *host* as opposed to where to *post*.

That's actually something I would like info on as well. Most peeps here seem very savvy to hosting, but I feel like a babe in the woods when this topic arises.

I bought a .mac address, but I think it's more complicated than editing in Final Cut Pro. ??? ::)

You can post video clips in the SCREEN GRABS section of this DVXuser site. Go take a look at some of the good work fellow DVX100(A) owners are doing.

Terry - yes, I suppose I am looking for a place that will "host" video clips so that I could "post" mine there... Sorry I'm not a FCP editor, but in Vegas (which I use) I would render videos to a highly compressed format such as RealMedia (.rm) or .wmv, and upload those small clips to the server. I'm sure you could do something similar to this in FCP.

DVX100Shooter - thanks, I am familiar with the "Screen Grabs" forum on this site. I guess I didn't clearly state it, but what I'm looking for a place (i.e. website or server) to "upload" some of my video clips so that I can post links to those clips in the "Screen Grabs" forum...

I have a server now.. i would be willing to host some video for DVX users.. bandwidth is expensive however.. I could even create an account I think with access for select DVX users. Or I could possibly upload it for you.. Id rather do that i think. Let me know if theres any interest here : )

If you want to show a video to folks here at DVX and a few select others then i can hook you up for free.. i woulld like to get a few others though as there is a lil work involved..

Main issue is of course bandwidth..its not cheap.. Yes.. i have the Bandwith ;D

That's exactly what I wanted to do - upload a couple of videos so that I could get comments from the members of this forum. If space is an issue for you, maybe you could keep the clips on your server for a week or two and then delete them (depending on the interest shown by the dvxuser community)...

Once you're ready, let me know how to send/upload clips to you (I'm on DSL by the way). First one I have is about 17MB. Thanks!

Hey guys.. i can do that.. Although I am unsue how to recieve them as i think email servers can only accept 10mg files at a time.. i may be able to change that.. PM me so we can chat.. if you have Yahoo messenger that will work great oo.. Im on often :)
