Ok, so I'm willing to buy some if I can't see them in the store:
I'm sick of these cheesy low budget horror movies.
I'm looking for movies along the lines of the following:
The Strangers, High Tension, Hostel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (all of them)
Now, I want you guys to name some creepy ass horror flicks (short or feature) that I can buy somewhere, in the store or online.
I'm not looking for movies such as the grudge, mirrors, bla bla bla. I want movie titles I've never even heard of. Even UK films, maybe there pretty creepy?
The Cottage is an idea, but it's a horror/comedy so it doesn't interest me.
Please, give me some new bad horror movies I can watch! Legally..And by legally I mean that I'm 18 now :)

Edited to add: None of my picks are like the movie you listed because they all suck.
Xtro - creep-factor off the charts, and a woman gives birth to a full grown man.
Phantasm - A truly scary horror classic from the 70s by the same director as Bubba Hotep. Really bad acting, but a really scary ride. I saw it at the drive in and refused to see it again until about a week ago. No joke.
Prophecy(1979) - Very scary at the time, have not re-watched.
Lifeforce dir Tobe Hooper and has a significant creep factor you can't quite put your finger on. Sci-Fi/Horror. Also lots of boobs.

I'm looking for movies along the lines of the following:
The Strangers, High Tension, Hostel, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (all of them)
If you like the original TCM then check out Rob Zombie's take on TCM & TCM2 with House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.
These aren't films that the world hasn't heard of but still pretty good.
If you're into torture porn like Hostel then go to imdb.com (www.imdb.com) and look at Eli Roth's work and enjoy
If you just want stuff no one has heard of then go for any of the old Troma films...

I second 'Henry: Portrait of a serial killer'
Give 'Prince of Darkness' a shot if you haven't watched it yet.

Not feeling the old movies. Aren't scary what so ever. Nothing scares me keep in mind, except some of the movies I mentioned.
Another example: Wolf Creek.

Well if you want fairly recent bad horror movies, look no further than The Gingerdead Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364376/). Gary Busey is a killer who comes back from the dead as a gingerbread man to take revenge on the girl who sent him to the electric chair. Seriously, it's epic. Basically watch everything by the director, Charles Band.

You mentioned Hostel. The only scary thing in that was the acting.

You should check out some of the films from "Horror fest: 8 films to die for" I don't remember the names but they had some fooked up shlt in them. The Gift is a good suspense movie. I like Silent Hill but it doesn't scare me, its just cool to look at.
Phantasm scared the crap out of me and so did The Sentinel when I was a kid. The problem with kids today is that there is some much gore and bore they are jaded. My kids don't get scared at anything except movies with Dolls in them for some reason.

The Ugly.
The Thing. (80's, but whatever. It still scares the crap outta me.)
Anything by Dario Argento. (for goriness)
And if anything made before 2000 is 'old', then I must be really old. :)

RobbieThat's what I thought. That's why I recommended the movies that I did.
If you haven't seen them... do yourself a favour. Forget about when the were made. Most of today's Directors have learned from them in one way or another.

You kids and your slang. You meant bad like Michael Jackson bad. Why didn't you just say that in the first place?
American Psycho is fairly recent, and good. Or should I say bad? Check it out.
