I was wondering if was a way/program to remove blemishes from a CU shot automatically. Something similar to the skin tone detail features on some video cameras, but being applied in post. I keep finding tons of articles on photoshopping a still but not too many on correcting video. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

similiar to skin tone details in camcorders, there are filters in editing progs. The filters however will affect the entire shot. Use a mask to avoid that.

The remove grain filter works pretty nicely for that (usually). Key the skin or use loosely feathered masks to avoid blurring eyes, eyebrows, mouths, etc.

I can't remember the exact post, but a month or so ago there was a discussion about this with a lot of examples. Not sure how you'd search for it, but the OP asked about J-Lo I think and music videos....Wish I could be more help, but I know there's a thread on this.

go to videocopilot.net
If you look in the tutorials section, there is one for this very thing. One of the earliest too if i recall. Very effective.

Uncle Benji is right. I forgot all about that one. It was the bride video. Good recall!
