As if Evil Dead wasn't over the top insane enough, someone made a musical of it, and now, Sam Raimi might turn it into a film...in 3-D! There should be a name for these films turned into musicals and back into films. Repea-quel? Musi-quel?

This is one of those few occasions that I wished I lived in NYC. I've seen some of the clips and production outtakes, and the crew is great. I would love to see it come back full circle into a movie.
By the way, Spamalot is the other occasion I wish I lived in NYC.

The musical came out off-off Broadway about 6-8 months ago, so it might still be playing.

i wish i could go see this! looks hilarious!!!
just two weeks ago they showed Evil Dead 1 & 2 at a theatre here in Vancouver. it was some of the best fun i've had in a while.. everyone heckling and laughing at everything... dressed up as zombies.. a meat slicer raffled off... hahahah.. good times..
