View Full Version : AE with P2 and Windows???????

Hi everyone,
We have bougth AE to work with P2-MXF staff but AE donīt import properly the files, in the monitor appear 4:3, we have add the last update 8.0.2 but it does not work. We are in windows. Are we doing something wrong? Has anyone had this problem?

Hey Pablo , I believe one question mark would have been sufficient :)
In AE click the "toggle the pixel aspect ration correction" button in the compview.

Thanks Everts, It is working. One more question please, How do you export? Because we dont have MXF export type. Do you export in TIFF sequences?

It really depends on what your doing .
Tiff is good if you probably need to recomposite the shots.
But for the final comp I would just render a quicktime with sorensen 3 / or tiff. The latter is what I've been doing lately for my all renders / or pre-renders.
These renders may look squashed when played back ,but when you import them back in AE / Prem Pro they're good.Still have the right aspect ratios.
