New 200a User... Woohoo! Anyway, shooting October 2nd!
720p. Should I go with 24fps? Its going to be all in a night club.
What settings should I use? Can someone please help?

With out knowing your vision for the video production it's difficult to provide suggestions. Personally, I primarily shoot 1080. A lot, of people do prefer to shoot 720 24pn due to storage reasons and the ability to emulate the look of film. Just a few suggestions however. The 200 is a light hog... so make sure you bring plenty of lights with you for the shoot.
You seem to have plenty of time between now and October 2nd to experiment with the camera and dial in the look you want.
Good luck.

Thanks for your responce.
I scheduled a test shoot for this Thursday night at the club to do a test edit and see how it goes. The good thing is that i have time!
Do you really think the 200A is a light hog? I don't think so...???
I just finished a 30 second spot i shot at a department store where the lights weren't really there and the TV station rep told me they did a spot there before to make sure i brought plenty of lights.
I took 4 light kits and did not use 1!
at all.....
And the spot came out superb!
That was my first job with the 200A.
I'm impressed.

The 200 definitely needs more light than the 200a. Nightclubs are notoriously dark, however. If you can borrow or rent some DJ lighting, you'll be glad. Lots of moving/flashing light will help sell the ambience better than static lights.
Personally, I'd shoot at 1080p24, unless you wanted overcranking, then I'd do 720pN24. 30 is a totally acceptable framerate, too.
