QT HD footage/audio-no video?

Hi Guys,

I've tried loading in some QT HD footage in Vegas Pro 8.b
All I get is the audio track. The video does not load.
When I right click on the file it says: "Video: Stream attributes could
not be determined".

Here's the info from QT Movie Inspector.
Format: HDV 1080i60, 876 x 493, millions, 16-bit Integer (Little Endian) Left,
48000Khz, 16-bit Integer (Little Endian) Right, 48000Khz
Movie FPS: 29.97
Playing FPS: 29.97
Data Size: 397.92MB
Data Rate: 26.52 mbits/sec

Normal Size: 1888x1062 pixels
Current Size: 876x493 pixels

What do I need to do to get both audio/video to play properly? Is there an update I need? A 3rd party plugin/software or?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

The kind of "HDV" that Quicktime exports is not supported by Vegas. I have not found a way to make it work on Vegas, even if I have ffdshow installed. I suggest you simply export in a lossless codec that Vegas supports, like, either uncompressed, or buy Cineform.
