Traverse City Film Festival?

Recently reached final cut on my latest short film and have begun researching festivals ... hitting the big boys and definitely want to play at Traverse City Film Festival if possible, but I see on their website that they are by invitation only. I'm wondering if any DVXusers have connections to this festival and would be willing to watch my film to see if they'd be willing to pass it along to the programmers.

Also, happy to hear from others with connections at other festivals as I know getting someone to look at the film is half the battle.
