Hi,

I'm editing a video in Vegas 8 that I shot with low light. I'm a newb at this stuff but I've found that by using the "glow" plug in and setting the glow percent to 0 and the intensity to 2.1 helps a lot. But it's pretty grainy.

Is there a better plug-in or method for saving a video that was shot with insufficient lighting?

Thanks,
BC

Oh, there's some noise reduction software, etc., etc., but the bottom line is . . . garbage in, garbage out. Won't ever look like it was shot properly.

Depending on how bad the lighting is, you may get some help from the Bump map FX. Play around with the lighting settings.
