AAAHH, Help!

I haven't turned my HVX200 on in a few months, now I can't access the menu. I also cannot access the MCR function for P2 management nor the VCR function for tape management. The buttons are just unresponsive. I can still record and use the scene file presets though. I'm just wondering if perhaps I somehow have the camera in a mode where the menu function isn't available. Of course the HVX specialists at Panasonic are off on the weekend, so I can't talk to them until Monday. Anybody have this problem or know what (if anything) I'm doing wrong?

If you have turned on the camera, and the menus don't come up, then you should plan on sending it in. There is no secret mode that you could have blindly locked yourself out of them.

Had a similar problem with two HVX's. Definitely not a user serviceable problem.

Great, I've had it a year last month. Anybody that's had this problem before, how much did it cost to fix?

There are three parts involved for this fix. $60.84 is the total for the parts and about 3 hours of labor should do it ($85 per hour). We can a real estimate once the camera is here and we can perform a full evaluation.
