i mean literally CRAPPY!!!

ok so i wanted to shoot some insects to test the sharpness of my new glass. so i went to the one place i knew i could find lots of flies...

then my dog showed up so i had to get some shots of him too.

this was shot on hpx500 at 720/24pn overcranked to 60fps. 1/1000 shutter. full telephoto. i am using hunter's scene file which has the master ped cranked way up so you can't really get an idea of the sharpness at that low contrast. i crushed the blacks a bit to bring things back to normal. that's it.

exported at half size to h.264

i want some feedback on the image before i say which lens this is.

That was some crappy footage (1st clip)!! :)

Do you mind posting your picture settings, especially on the second clip?

Yea the color rendition was great in those shots I loved it.
What were your settings?

i used hunter's scene file. the lens is a canon yj18x9. people talk bad about the yj lenses but they make nice pictures...
