View Full Version : Light Streaks coming from hands

I need to do a little editing work for a friend of mine. He basically wants me to make light streaks coming from the subjects hand like this image:

I found this Andrew Kramer tutorial, where he explains how to do the light streaks, but I don't think he shows how to make the streaks come from a subject's hand. Is there any way to track it? Or does anyone know of any other tutorials on achieving this affect?

Out of the hand or out of the fingers? The latter would be more time consuming unless you need a close up shot of the hand and fingers I would just to the hand. I believe there's another one AK 's site where he parents the emitter to a null object.
Just do that and mask out when needed.
Is there an example of this video on the net by the way ?

Ps: did you notice the time you posted the thread ?
