Hi all,

Does anyone know what the setting would be on HVX200 to get time lapse like this:

you would use the interval record mode in the video (not film cam) mode. just calculate the frame rate by how much time your final clip is to be. for example, you want a 10 sec clip at 30fps, you would need 300 frames. For a 30 minute time lapse, that 1800 seconds/300 frames = shooting a frame every 6 secs.

The last shot, with the extreme "streaking headlights" look, can't be obtained in the
HVX interval mode. You would have to shoot using the 2fps "hack", and increase shutter
angle from 180 to 360, which will open the lens enough to get you closer to that look.
Even so, I have never been able to get the effect to the extreme it is in that clip or on
a digital SLR.

night set up at 24p and to get that much light set shutter at 360. that will equal 1/24 shutter . if you set at 30p then the 360 shutter will only equal 1/30 shutter.
