View Full Version : What's this "jump" frame in my footage?

I have done several shoots now with an HVX and sometimes I get this weird "jump" in my footage. Usually it seems to happen if I'm zoomed in and panning or tilting.

It's not happening all the time, but it's happened enough that it bugs me...

Here's a link:

It's about half-way through the clip, very subtle but there.
Has anyone else had anything like this?

Do you have OIS turned on while panning on a tripod?

Not sure...what is that? And please excuse my ignorance.
Thanks.

Yep - OIS was on. I turned it off and it doesn't do that anymore. Thanks! I thought I had misaligned heads or something...My headache is gone.

Glad it worked out.

Panny should call it the 'Jump Frame Button'.
