In regards to the remake:
I don't care much for vampire flicks. Even before the tweeny Twilight stuff, films like 30 Days of Night don't hold much appeal to me. I like what I'm seeing with the Fright Night remake, though. Colin Farrell seems perfect in the role, and the whole vibe is much more akin to Cape Fear or Disturbia but with a supernatural psycho. Plus, David Tennant is in this.

On a side note, did you guys see Colin Farrell in London Boulevard? Friggin great, and don't get me started on how great Ray Winstone was.

I saw this remake in an advanced screening a while ago. Granted, I've never seen the original, I thought the remake was ok. Not great, but not terrible. There were some funny parts, some suspenseful parts, and some parts that dragged on and they should have cut. I don't know if there was any trimming done since I saw it. Colin Ferrell did a good job, as did Anton Yelchin. All-in-all, I probably won't be seeing it again in theaters (unless my friends really want to see it, then I may.)
I should check out the original.
