Dynamic link help plz

Hey all,

I looked in the supposed FAQ above but nothing there for me.

Having dynamic link woes as I'm new to Production Bundle.
I have a Premiere timeline with a clip or two that can use repair via AE. When I use the Dynamic Link I get a new comp in AE but no footage. Been doing workaround like rendering a clip to destop as destination then draging in the clip to AE and thinking that's probably not how this is done. The help docs are a lil fuzzy. Can anyone give a a lil help with this??

dynamic link is useful when you import an AE composite into premiere and it treats it like a video clip. To get clips from Premiere to AE, its easier to just select the clips you want to export, press ctrl c (copy), open up an AE comp with the same size, and then just paste those clips directly into the AE timeline. Then you can use dynamic link to bring those comps back into premiere pro.

Thanks for the response, your advice was great when I tried a dry run then got to work on actual job and was so frustrated when it did not work. Tried to figure out what was different from when it worked fine in the dry run.
