Mac Pro wouldve been my choice too. But I already have one. So I say the letus.

WTF? What are you shooting man? We have no clue about anything you do, how should we vote then?
What I can say now: Obviously you would need some audio, right?

Why the MacPro?
Because you have to edit on something.

I think that is a question you can only answer yourself. A good tripod is usually a must for most productions...

Well I place them in the order I intend to buy them... I already know what's important for me, but you can never be too careful just wanted a 2nd opinion.
yeah, this is WAY to subjective. good tripod, great mic and a computer take priority over a lens adapter - for ANYBODY.
but we cant answer that question for you. it depends on what kind of work you do. hell, i worked for more than 10 years and only got rails and an adapter last year
and if youre talking zacuto, letus and miller. i think the ntg mic is kind of a step down - dont get me wrong, its a fine mic. but if you have zacuto or miller money, id say look at the shure vp88 or sennheiser mkh 416
and youre leaving out a lot of stuff from your list. do you already have a mattebox? if not you dont even need rails until you get your letus. and do you have an existing computer? if so, the mac quad may be overkill. im editing dvcpro hd on my trusty G5 quad and its nowhere near an unpleasant experience.

Well the I do have a macbook pro, but I have as of recently learned that having a backup is very helpful, plus there are a few things the macbook pro is sluggish with.
I feel the tripod is best right now because the 501 isn't smooth, and it wobbles a lot while I do certain shots I want a dependable tripod and it's been a long time coming.
The Mac Pro will more than likely follow the mic and then the letus, but for now I'm weighting my options.
I am shifting my focus away from live events, to doing more corporate work, documentaries, music videos, and commercials so I really would like to step up in all areas of business, not just tools, but day to day business habits.
