P2 to PC to Premiere Pro CS3 Help!!!!

Hi all,

I just got this HVX200. I shot somethings just to try it out. I connected the P2 card to my PC. I got the removable disk in my computer. I see the Contents file. I moved it to my desktop. Now I tryed moving a clip over into Premiere Pro CS3 but I got an error message: file format not supported.

I need some help here!!!! :(

Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit
2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700
1TB hard drive
4GB of DDR2 memory
Blu-ray/HD DVD SuperMulti drive
Two 22" Widescreen HD LCD Displays

Get the upgrade for CS3. Actually premiere pro 3.1 supports MXF import and editing and not 3.0.

Yes; it's up to 3.2 now. But updating will make your life quite sweet.

Remember to keep that p2 volume intact with the folder structure unaltered.

Do yourself a favour, also get fimilair with the P2 Viewer software aswell, I use it to transfer all my footage, that way you know all the files went over that you need, cause if you don't copy something, it's gone baby.

the P2 Viewer is actually pretty cool. Basic. but cool.

I recently imported video and audio into Premiere Pro CS3.2. I am not getting any audio but I do see in the Audio Master Meters, audio levels. All other applications have sound, just not Premiere Pro.

Any advice would sure be appreciated!
