HVX Battery meter problem?

Ok so I just got my HVX today and I'm having a problem with the battery meter on the LCD and EVF. I fully charged the battery when I got the camera and when I placed it into the HVX I got "39min." So I wait a while, and it stays at 39min. I change the record mode to 1080i and the display shows me 16min. So I wait for 15 minutes and it doesn't change. Next, I plug in the adapter and the battery meter shows me "39min" again. I don't think this is normal - Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? Thanks

You are looking not at the battery meter, but recording length in minutes :-)

This exact question pops up every 2-3 weeks. If it stops, I would think something is wrong. May be migration of the Sony users ended? :-)
