No - jokes aside, I have a quartermile race coming up at Sept 6th and our Chevy is in dare need of some improofement. So after the race I go come back to my door.

It will be tight (as always) but I have only 2 locations this time so I hope to wrap it in 2 or 3 days.

"An Enchanting Twist of Peccadilloes" - Finished all filming Sunday! (the edit is almost done too...) Last Wednesday was the main shoot (12 hour day), Sunday was some pick-ups & establishing shots (5 hours)

Now on to the second film.... "Twisted". Planning begins now for a late September shoot.

We start next Thursday. Some voiceover work in the studio, and a suicide scene with no dialog. the next full days of shooting are Sept 27th and 28th. I can't wait. I have not turned my camera on in a few weeks. I miss that good stress that comes with shooting.

We're out as far as I can tell. The main, writer/director never got back to us. He was all game before, then, not sure what happened. We've done two shorts with him acting before so, not sure why he's missed the calls, but its too late to start it now. Weird. He had the story and location ready and everything. Girlfriend problems probably. I think he may have had the dates wrong. It was due October, not starting October. But too late now.

No crew. No Actors. Nothing. Period.
We do this as a hobby. 2 day shoot with a dvx. 2 Sears halo lights. Friend actors. Beer & pizza. That's it.
Although bro has good dibs on antique props.
He does more document type stuff in his spare time.

Yeah, pretty weird. I've been buggin bro to do one this year, and we had it lined up and everything.

Anyways I can't direct, but I've been reading all of JR's stuff for the last year and it sounds like fun. Jeez that's a lot of work though.

Maybe a winter scene thing for next fest.

Who knows , who cares. It's not a big deal to us. :)

My team was out until just recently, when we decided to go ahead and give a new script a shot. Unfortunately, that means we're starting with under 6 weeks till the deadline, so--
I'm still putting the finishing touches on the 3rd draft of the script and currently we're casting for the two lead (and only) roles. We're also currently trying to secure our location- if we can't get the location, the entire idea goes out the window. However, if we get this all done within the next week, then we still can't even shoot until the weekend of October 10th because our team is also registered for a 48hour film festival the weekend of the 3rd. So we're shooting about 10-15 hours total over three days on the weekend of October 10th and 17th. Then I'm giving myself just under 2 weeks to edit. Woooohooo. :)
