anyone figure out an easy way to connect the cables for the varizoom rocker controller? It took me awhile to get up the courage to really shove the iris/focus cable into the cam. It just doesn't seem like it can be good for the camera.

as far as im told, the varizoom controller products arent compatible with the hvx.

Wrong ! I have the controller for the HVX and it works as promised . I'll admit it's a little hard to plug the cables in.

Hello Guys,

Yes, the varizoom products are available for the HVX200 and they are hard to plug in. It won't hurt the camera if you have to push really hard. Just make sure you're pushing it straight in and not at an angle. That will destroy any jack.
